Hurdle Making

Hurdle making
Hurdle making course in progress at DCRS.

As featured in the February 2008 issue of the Dorset Magazine

Hurdle Making is a one day course run by Pete Moors of the Dorset Coppice Group.

Using locally coppiced hazel you will learn the process of hurdle making while making your own hazel hurdle at the Centre. You will be able to take your newly made hurdle home with you at the end of the day.

This is a physically demanding day, although no prior knowledge is needed, particiapants needs to be in resonably good health.

£85.00 including materials.
