Glassblowing

Glassblower Emsie Sharp making wine glasses
A day of glassblowing with Emsie Sharp.
You will spend the morning learning the basics of glassblowing such
as gathering glass from the furnace , shaping, forming, blowing, re-heating,
colour application, decoration and annealing.
In the afternoon you will put these process together to create your
own glass work. There are only two places on each course so you can work
at your own pace with help and assistaance from Emsie.
The pieces you create will need to spend 24 hours in the annealing
oven and can be collected later.
“ My husband, Phil, spent Saturday with you on a glass blowing workshop. I just wanted to say a huge thank you. He came back grinning from ear to ear!! He went to bed talking about it and woke up talking about it. He said it was the best birthday present he had ever had which is great .... (but how do I top that now?!?!)
Many thanks again, he can't wait to get the pieces home to show me."
