Dorset Centre for Rural Skills
Dorset Centre for Rural Skills (DCRS) is an established training centre specialising in one day and weekend training courses. Our programme of courses include sustainable building, traditional renovation and rural crafts. All courses take place undercover here at the centre in our converted barn. The centre also boasts a glassblowing studio, forge and pottery studio. |

The Sustainable Building Resource Centre (SBRC) is located inside an example straw bale house at DCRS. Shop from the Resource Centre or on-line to purchase natural and sustainable building products ranging from lime and sheep's wool insulation to non-toxic paint. The Resource Centre also provides general advice about building sustainably and has details of local business in the area who can supply you with other products and services. |
